Okeanos® Expands International Oureach With The Hiring Of Martina Hauser, Veteran Government Liason To Spearhead Global Government Affairs Team

November 23, 2022

January 11, 2022 (Miami Beach, FL) – Sustainable innovation company Okeanos® announces the hiring of Martina Hauser as Chief
Government Affairs Officer. Ms. Hauser will spearhead government outreach strategy, working alongside Partnerships Director
Conrick Gallagher, and Legislative Affairs Director Estefania Xucla to introduce the company’s signature technology Made From
Stone™ to sustainably-focused government partners through technology transfer and collaboration.

A veteran speaker of the UN Summit on Sustainable Development and TEDx Rio, Ms. Hauser brings 30+ years of sustainability
experience to her new role. An entrepreneur and strategic economic leader in long-term sustainable development, she has
worked on thousands of sustainable projects, becoming an invaluable advisor to major governments in Europe, the Middle East,
and South America in the facilitation of CSR strategies including renewable energies, groundbreaking carbon footprint programs,
and environmental education.

“Martina’s three decades of experience are an incredible asset to Okeanos. Her intuition, diplomatic know-how and thorough
understanding of complex global sustainability issues made her the perfect choice to lead our new Government Affairs team,”
explains Okeanos CEO Florencio Cuétara. “Okeanos is the only scalable, affordable, and immediate solution to plastic pollution.
However, for worldwide implementation to be a success, it is essential that we work hand in hand with our government partners
to ease adoption and shape future legislation governing plastics. Under Martina’s leadership, we are confident that no stone will
be left unturned.”

Okeanos’ Made From Stone™ technology ensures a guaranteed reduction of plastic and CO2 emissions through an upstream
solution, taking the responsibility of using less plastic out of the hands of consumers and putting it squarely in the hands of
brands and manufacturers. Okeanos aims to introduce each region to MFS technology, providing continuous support to the
manufacturer while replicating the solution in as many local regions as possible. Made From Stone’s key feedstock, calcium
carbonate, can be found abundantly worldwide. Sourcing stone (CaCO3) local to clients (manufactures/ brands) provides social
benefits of driving hard currency and supporting local jobs, while replacing the majority of 100% toxic plastic products with an
inorganic, bio-renewable, low carbon footprint material that can run on existing plastic equipment; helping deliver a solution
without the need for additional investment in infrastructure.

“Collaboration is the key to success, and public/private sector collaboration is essential for us to make meaningful change. Made
From Stone technology’s clear environmental benefits are bolstered by its social contributions. With widespread implementation,
and forward-thinking legislation, I am confident that Okeanos technology will make an immediate impact around the world,”
says Ms. Hauser.

Outside of her work with Okeanos, Martina Hauser continues to lend her voice and knowledge to important conversations on
social sustainable efforts for refugees through her company, 7 Hills. In recognition of her work as Senior Program Manager for the
Italian Ministry of the Environment, Martina was awarded the “Cavallere Del Lavoro,” a Knighthood bestowed upon her by former
Italian President Carlo Azgelio Ciampi. Prior to her time at the Ministry, Martina spent the 1990s working in environmental
administration to improve the post-war waste and water resource management within the Balkans. Martina holds a bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, and a master’s degree in Energy Resources and Management from the LUISS Guido Carli
University in Rome.
