February 28, 2023 (Miami Beach, FL) – Sustainable technology company Okeanos announced today that it will enter the Turkish market as of February 28, 2023 after signing an exclusive regional agreement with leading rigid container manufacturer EminisAmbalaj. A licensed entity, Okeanos Turkey, which will be overseen by EminisAmbalaj Director FeritUzunyol, will develop industrial containers for sale in Turkey and beyond, using Okeanos’ signature Made From Stone compound, resulting in an immediate and measurable reduction in both plastic and CO2 footprint at the point of manufacture.
Made From Stone technology reduces plastic and carbon emissions at the source through the substitution of majority quantities of calcium carbonate, a renewable mineral. While abundant worldwide, Turkey is exceptionally rich in high-grade calcium carbonate, allowing Okeanos Turkey to introduce a solution that will not only create local jobs, but will further contribute to the country’s growing green economy.
