To accomplish this, we will work tirelessly to ensure our global crew is armed with the information and tools necessary to make informed changes to their daily lives that will improve the condition of our marine environments.

100% of the proceeds from branding royalties are directed to the Okeanos Philanthropy, serving the cause of conservation, community education, research, and communication campaigns.

The ocean is paramount to our planet’s survival. In addition to being home to almost 80% of the world’s organisms, it is also one of our greatest weapons against climate change. Oceans absorb carbon dioxide gas from our atmosphere, which can reduce the overheating of our planet. The Okeanos Philanthropy will fund efforts to restore ocean ecosystems and protect species from extinction, so that we may preserve our oceans for generations to come.

To fully address our world’s plastic problem, we must fully understand why plastic is the problem. Okeanos is continuously conducting research to investigate plastic and its long-term effects on our ecosystems. What we learn through the work of our scientists, engineers, and researchers helps us develop powerful technologies that could potentially save our planet.

The Okeanos Philanthropy is committed to making sustainability education available to people all over the world. We are prioritizing educational programming in areas where plastic pollution is at its worst, where recycling infrastructure and environmental programs do not exist. Creating awareness, sharing knowledge, and encouraging action is necessary to help the world fight plastic pollution together.
