Okeanos is a sustainable innovation company developing calcium carbonate (CaCO3) technologies to immediately reduce plastic pollution. Okeanos’ patented Made From Stone (MFS) technology replaces the majority of oil-based resin with naturally abundant, affordable CaCO3, reducing the plastic content and carbon footprint by more than 50% today. A global network of stone, compounding, and manufacturing on five continents ensures scalability. Compound can be run on existing equipment for film, thermoforming or injection molding, easing adoption around the world. MFS can be recycled and will biodegrade, making the stone bio-available to be re-used by the environment.
